Project Title: "Collection Connections"
Project Description: This project uses in-gallery Augmented Reality (AR) to enrich museum experiences by overlaying additional information on actual art pieces. Offering links to similar artworks from global collections , it allows the user to juxtapose real artworks with virtual ones, creating a unique and immersive experience that connects collections, increases collections access, and encourages visitors to contemplate historical artworks while making contemporary connections.
This project was done in collaboration with Mark Osterman, Assistant Director for Technology and Engagement at the Lowe Art Museum and was funded by one of the University's UMverse grants.
