B.S.C. in Immersive Media
Launched in 2023, the Bachelor of Science in Communication in Immersive Media is a joint program between the University’s Interactive Media, Computer Science, and Computer Engineering departments. This degree prepares students for careers in research, content creation, and applications of immersive media technologies, such as virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), spatial computing, and mixed reality (MR).
Students in the Immersive Media major learn about the history, ethics, and practical applications of immersive technologies. They also gain hands-on experience with industry-standard design processes, aesthetic methodologies, and cutting-edge software.
