Project Title: "Engineering Structures | AR Statics"
Project Description: The University of Miami XR Garage participated in adding new features and visual improvements to AR Statics, a Magic Leap App that demonstrates static forces acting on objects. James Giancaspro is the principal investigator of a $300,000 National Science Foundation grant for a three-year project, “Improving Student Learning Using a Three‐Dimensional Immersive Learning Environment for Foundational Engineering Concepts." The project is designed to bring immersive 3D experiences based on augmented reality and extended reality (XR) technologies to undergraduate engineering students.
